The four notifications
A candidate completes an assessment. One email when someone finishes everything in their assessment. The most useful of the four if you are running a live role.
A candidate registers for one of your assessments. One email when someone signs up, before they have taken anything. Useful while you are checking a link works, noisy once a campaign is running at volume.
Weekly summary of activity across your assessments. One email a week. The right setting if you have several roles open and do not want per-event mail.
Product updates and new tests. Occasional, from us.
Changes save as you go. There is no save button.
They are yours, not the account's
Each person on the team chooses their own. Turning something on does not turn it on for your colleagues, and adding a colleague does not subscribe them to anything you have chosen.
The assessment-level notification is separate
An assessment can notify its owner and a named list of other people when a candidate completes it, set under the assessment's own settings.
Those recipients must be active team members who have completion notifications enabled. If a colleague says they are not getting them, the switch on this page is the first thing to check, not the assessment.

Service email always arrives
These switches control activity notifications. Messages about your account itself, such as confirming an email address or a sign-in link you asked for, are not optional and are not affected by them.
Candidate-facing email is also separate and is never governed by your preferences. See the messages candidates receive.
A quiet inbox that is too quiet
If you have turned everything off and are worried about missing a candidate, the assessments list shows last activity per assessment, and Candidates can be sorted by newest. A weekly summary plus a habit of checking the list is a perfectly good setup.
