A team is a group of people inside your workspace, such as "Sika Thailand". Each assessment can belong to one team. Teams decide what someone sees. Their role, admin or member, decides what they can do. The two are separate.
Teams are optional. If you never create one, nothing about your workspace changes: everyone sees every assessment.
All teams, or some teams
Everyone in your workspace is set to one of these:
- All teams. They see every assessment, in every team, and assessments with no team. This is where everyone starts.
- Some teams. They see only the assessments in their teams, and the candidates and results that go with them.
This applies to admins too. An admin can be limited to one team, although an admin can always change their own teams.
Taking someone out of a team never lets them see more. If you take someone out of their last team, or delete it, they see no assessments until you give them a team or set them to All teams.
Making a team
You need to be an admin. Go to the account menu, then Teams, and add the team. Then choose who is in it. A person can be in several teams. Adding someone to a team limits them to their teams.
You can also choose someone's teams when you invite them, or change them later on the People page, in the Teams column. See add and remove people.
Which team an assessment belongs to
Each assessment belongs to one team, or to no team. Its candidates and results go with it.
Nobody chooses a team while creating an assessment:
- Someone in one or more teams creates assessments in their team. If they are in several, it goes into the first by name.
- Someone on All teams creates assessments with no team.
Moving an assessment to another team
An admin can move an assessment on the Assessments page: in the Team column, choose the new team. You can also do it on the assessment's own page. To see one team's assessments, use the Team filter at the top of the list. Its candidates and results move with it, so the people in the new team see them and the people in the old team no longer do.
The same assessment in several teams
An assessment belongs to one team. To use the same tests in several teams, copy the assessment once for each team and put each copy in its team. Each team then sees only its own candidates. See edit, duplicate or archive an assessment.
A candidate who sat assessments in two teams
Someone limited to teams sees only the results from assessments in their own teams. Results from another team's assessment stay hidden from them.
Emails about candidates
The completed and registered emails, and the weekly summary, go only to people who can see that assessment. Someone in one team is not emailed about another team's candidates.
Deleting a team
Its assessments go back to having no team, so only people on All teams see them. Nothing is deleted: the assessments, candidates and results all stay. Anyone who was only in that team sees no assessments until you give them another team.
Billing is shared
Teams do not split billing. One workspace pays for everyone, and credits are shared across all teams. Only admins see billing.
