A pack is a block of candidates bought in advance, at a lower rate per candidate than pay as you go. Sizes and prices are on billing and usage and the plans page.
What a pack buys
Exactly what a pay-as-you-go candidate buys: one candidate whose results are unlocked, once, however many tests are in their assessment. There is no tiering and no reduced version of a result. A pack candidate unlocks precisely what a pay-as-you-go candidate unlocks.
The terms of a pack
- One payment. Buying a pack does not start a subscription and does not create a recurring card mandate.
- The balance never expires. Candidates you have bought stay yours.
- It does not renew. When the balance runs out, pay as you go takes over if you have a card saved; otherwise results wait until you top up.
- There is no automatic top-up, by design. Nothing repeats a charge without a fresh decision from you.
Buying a pack
Choose the pack on the billing page and follow the card form.
Expect a bank security check. Pack payments are larger than the usual charge on this account, so the card form asks your bank to confirm it is you where your bank offers that. If the window closes or you cancel, nothing is charged; start again.
Your total, including any tax, is shown before you pay.
After you buy
Your prepaid balance appears on the billing page. Any results that were waiting because you had run out are released.
If your balance is running low you get a notice on the billing page. It tells you the balance is low and does not tell you to buy anything.
Choosing a size
Work from candidates, not from applicants. Count the people you expect to actually complete an assessment across the roles you will run before your next budget conversation.
Because the balance never expires, buying slightly ahead of that is low risk. The risk is the other way: a pack much larger than you will use ties up money for a rate you could have got later anyway.
If you buy the wrong pack
Unconsumed candidates can be refunded within a window after purchase. Consumed ones cannot. See refunds.
